Laurie Davis
Chief Executive Officer
Laurie joined The Arc of Volusia in 2023, having previously led The Arc of Oswego County/Oswego Industries, Inc in Fulton, New York for 7 years as its CEO/Executive Director, 6 years as Director of Finance and more than 28 total years on staff . Since 2015, she led the strategic initiatives and operational guidance for Oswego Industries and its sister agency, Arc of Oswego County. She was instrumental in ensuring a constant environment for people with disabilities in the Oswego community through advocacy and the development of local partnerships.

Mechelle Dockery
Program Coordinator
Mechelle has been a part of The Arc of Volusia since 2023, and previously had spent more than a decade working with the I/DD community in Ohio prior to her relocation to Florida. Mechelle works closely with the public school system is a wealth of knowledge with regards to navigating the transitional journey into an adult day training program. Her passion for our Arc individuals is boundless and her spirit of cooperation with compassion serves to establish a welcoming environment in our programs.
