History
In August of 1961, the parents of seven children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and three other interested persons, formed an organization that would later come to be known as The Arc of Volusia. Our agency was officially recognized by the State of Florida and chartered as a non-profit organization on March 23, 1962.
